"1932 Chevy"
Foil Art - Ink on Glass 8 x 6
The oldest known of my works still around, dating back to 1962
( 7th grade art class )Inspired by Mrs. Patterson when she crumpled
the foil her sandwich was wrapped in, tossed it like a ball,
and asked; "What could you do with this ?"
The goal is to use the foil to reflect light and make a picture come alive.
The problem: most pigment was too thick. I suggested Indian Ink,
and "Foil Art was born"
After almost 40 years, the blue ink has faded; however, it still
stands as a monument to a "Great Teacher"
