Wet on wet wash.
The background was long
blended strokes of color.
Knowing where the folds of
her clothing were, I added
the deeper sets of color on
color to highlight.
I sprayed water to soak the
work and force color bleed.
The photo doesn't show the
intense gold woven into
their headdress.
