A real Parisian favorite, the Luxembourg garden is a beautiful 25 green acre oasis on Paris fashionable left
bank. Spread with statues, fountains and flowers, the garden has many attractions. It is constantly animated
by lovers, students, outdoor chess and tennis players. Considerably expanded following various acquisitions,
gardens by Boyceau, mixed the typically French embroidery of flower beds with Italian-style grottoes and
fountains, which have now disappeared. These gardens of the French Senate are located in central Paris.
The Luxembourg palace was built in the 17th century by Marie de Medicis, a French queen, on the model of
Palazzo Pitti in her native Florence
